Ferrocid^®: for an effective control of micro-organisms (bacteria, fungi and algae) and macro-organisms (e.g. Mussels) in industrial recirculating water systems and membrane filtration units. Oxidising and non oxidising biocides, useful against slime forming and many bacteria. These organisms can produce an environment in which serious corrosion, biofouling and growth of Legionella can take place.

• Comprehensive treatments combining biocides, biodispersants to effectively control biofilm growth.
• Specific biocides treatment for drinking water, which is especially recommended against microbiological and Legionella growth.

Warm water can be an especially favourable environment for Legionella. Showers, because of the vaporisation of water, may represent a risk of Legionnaire’s disease contamination for the users. For these reasons it is highly recommended to treat drinking water systems.
