Membrane units become more and more important in the water pre-treatment. In particular reverse osmosis units often have problems with scaling and fouling and are therefore limited by frequent maintenance, downtime and high costs. The treatment programs are specifically designed for membrane units like ultra-, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis.
